Director of Product Strategy

Elevate Semiconductor is seeking a technical leader to drive business development, product strategy, market growth, and be the owner of the product roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes technology, has a proven record of authoring technical papers and patents, and is excited by the opportunity to plan future products through close interactions with customers and customers'-customers.

The ideal candidate combines deep fabless semiconductor expertise with a strong understanding of the entire silicon supply chain from IC design to fabs to assembly to test. The candidate must show creative problem-solving, and a passion for sharing ideas publicly through technical publications, conference presentations, and industry engagement being comfortable presenting to large audiences as well as C-suite executives. Being able to understand future macro trends, particularly related to semiconductor reliability and test, is crucial in order to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy, product roadmap and technology direction for Elevate’s IC semiconductor portfolio, identifying new market opportunities and product concepts.
• Author and publish technical papers, and actively drive patent creation that showcases Elevate’s engineering innovation.
• Represent Elevate as a technical spokesperson at industry conferences, customer meetings, and technical symposiums.
• Provide onsite leadership for the Applications and Marketing teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring technical excellence.
• Partner with Design, Test, and Business Development to align product roadmaps with market needs and long-term company goals.
• Strong understanding of cost impacts related to technology decisions.
• Inspire a culture of innovation and thought leadership across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years in semiconductor product definition, applications, or technical marketing roles
• Proven record of published technical papers and granted patents
• Deep understanding of IC design, test, and customer application development
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to both engineers and customers
• Natural curiosity, creative drive, and excitement for representing technology publicly

• 5+ years of supervisory experience

The salary range for this role is $175,000.00-$200,000.00. Starting salary will be aligned with your relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities during the interview process. Typically, candidates begin at the initial tier of our compensation range, with placement adjusted for candidates presenting extensive directly applicable experience.
