Director of Product Marketing

TLDR

Lead the market strategy and positioning for Anvilogic by translating complex AI-driven security technology into clear narratives that accelerate growth and enhance corporate visibility.

About Anvilogic

Anvilogic is redefining how enterprise security teams detect, investigate, and hunt threats at scale. Our AI-powered detection engineering platform eliminates vendor lock-in, empowers SOC teams to operate across their existing SIEM and modern data lake simultaneously, and delivers measurable cost savings in the millions.

At the center of this transformation is the rise of the AI-driven SOC (AI-SOC) — where automation, machine learning, and detection engineering converge to dramatically improve security outcomes and analyst productivity. Anvilogic is helping enterprises make this transition in a practical, scalable way.

Backed by $85M in funding from Evolution Equity Partners, Foundation Capital, and Databricks Ventures — with strategic backing from industry luminaries like Nikesh Arora — we’ve earned recognition as a Cybersecurity Breakthrough Award winner, a Forbes Best Startup Employer, and the Databricks Growth Built on Partner of the Year.

We’re trusted by security-forward enterprises across finance, healthcare, and technology — and we’re just getting started.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Product Marketing to define and lead how Anvilogic shows up in the market — particularly as a leader in the emerging AI-SOC category. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a product marketer who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can translate complex security technology into clear, compelling narratives, and knows how to drive pipeline and revenue through strong positioning and go-to-market execution.

This role also requires a modern, AI-first approach to marketing. You should be someone who actively leverages AI and LLMs in your day-to-day work — not as a novelty, but as a force multiplier. We’re looking for a leader who can use AI to scale output, accelerate insights, and deliver high-quality results in days or weeks instead of months.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to shape our category, sharpen our messaging, and accelerate growth. If you’re equal parts storyteller, strategist, and operator — we’d love to speak with you.

What You’ll Own

Positioning & Messaging

  • Define and continuously refine Anvilogic’s core messaging, value proposition, and category narrative — with a focus on establishing leadership in the AI-SOC market
  • Translate complex technical capabilities (detection engineering, SIEM augmentation, data lakes, AI-driven workflows) into clear, differentiated positioning
  • Own competitive intelligence and battlecards to ensure we win against SIEM vendors and adjacent platforms

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Lead product and feature launches end-to-end, from positioning through enablement and campaign alignment
  • Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities based on market needs and customer feedback
  • Define target personas (SOC leaders, detection engineers, CISOs) and tailor messaging accordingly
  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate GTM execution, experimentation, and iteration cycles

Sales & Partner Enablement

  • Equip Sales and Channel teams with the messaging, content, and tools needed to win deals
  • Develop high-impact sales assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI frameworks, and customer proof points
  • Support field teams in strategic deals and help refine messaging based on real-world feedback

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Drive the creation of high-quality content across formats: blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and analyst narratives
  • Establish Anvilogic as a thought leader in AI-SOC, detection engineering, and SIEM modernization
  • Partner with Demand Gen to ensure messaging consistency across campaigns
  • Use AI to scale content creation, personalization, and distribution without sacrificing quality

Customer & Market Insight

  • Build a deep understanding of customers, use cases, and buying behavior
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and feed insights back into messaging and product strategy
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate positioning and uncover new opportunities
  • Apply AI-driven research and analysis techniques to rapidly synthesize market and customer insights

What We’re Looking For in You

Beyond the resume, we’re hiring for a specific kind of person:

An AI-native marketer. You actively use AI/LLMs to enhance your work — from content creation to research to strategy — and you think in terms of leverage and scale. You move faster and produce more because of it.

A storyteller. You can take complex, technical products and turn them into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with buyers.

A builder. You’re comfortable creating from scratch — messaging frameworks, launch processes, enablement assets — and scaling them over time.

A culture carrier. You embody Anvilogic’s values: humble, driven, curious, and team-oriented.
