Position Overview

The Director of Product Management, Data Products will lead the strategy, roadmap, and value realization for Diligent’s data assets. While our Engineering partners manage the underlying infrastructure and platform stability, this role focuses on the "Data as a Product." You will be responsible for transforming raw information into a high-value "Intelligence Fabric" that fuels AI-driven experiences, advanced analytics, and advanced tooling for our customers. 

As the primary champion for our Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) vision, you will ensure our data is discoverable, usable, and valuable across the entire GRC ecosystem. You will act as the bridge between business outcomes and technical execution, defining the semantic and logic layers that turn a data lake into a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for GRC data products to ensure our data is the most discoverable and valuable asset in the industry
  • Identify unmet needs in the market where Diligent’s unique data footprint can create entirely new revenue streams
  • Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to package, price, and launch data-centric features. You will ensure our data products drive a high-margin, scalable business line
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering Leadership (who own the core data platform and infra) to ensure the technical roadmap is aligned with customer and product needs
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers focused on data utility. You will be the primary champion for our Data-as-a-Product philosophy, influencing stakeholders across the organization to prioritize data-first thinking

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in high-impact leadership roles
  • Proven ability to identify high-value signals within massive, complex datasets
  • Built and delivered proprietary data products to large enterprise customers using a strategic combination of data curation and creation
  • Designed data features that become essential to the user experience, driving product adoption and long-term retention
  • Excellent at linking unrelated data points to create new, actionable narratives for stakeholders
  • Expert in creating and utilizing synthetic datasets to accelerate product development and AI model training
  • Experience combining publicly available information with semi-structured SaaS data to generate unique insights
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into compelling "Whys" for executive stakeholders and non-technical customers
  • Deep understanding of data tech stacks such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift, semantic layers, and vector databases to deliver value 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DaaS (Data-as-a-service) business models or monetizing data assets
  • Familiarity with regulatory and governance requirements (GDPR, SOC2) as they relate to data productization
  • Experience driving organizational AI transformation through structured data assets
  • Prior experience in GRC, FinTech, or Enterprise SaaS domains

 

U.S pay range
$200,000$250,000 USD
