Lucyd, the clear leader in paid social advertising for DTC cannabis brands, is hiring a Director of Performance Creative to take our creative output to the next level.

What We’re Looking For


We’re looking for someone who gets creative performance at its core- not just what looks good, but what converts.


You should bring:



  • Deep experience with performance marketing creative, especially static/UGC ads that convert in paid social
  • A strong point of view on hooks, offers, and formats that drive results
  • A creative mindset: you’re not just iterating on what’s working—you’re pitching new ideas
  • Experience working closely with media buyers, strategists, and designers
  • The ability to scale a creative system across multiple pods while protecting quality


What You’ll Do


This is a high-impact, hands-on role where your ideas and direction will influence creative across multiple teams, formats, and accounts.


You will:



  • Act as a creative thought partner for pod teams—bringing ideas, guidance, and perspective
  • Audit our creative libraries to identify what’s working, what’s fatiguing, and what’s missing
  • Lead internal creative workshops that help teams align around performance best practices
  • Join client calls to pitch creative concepts and strengthen clients' confidence in our approach
  • Collaborate with media and strategy leads to build high-converting assets rooted in product benefit and offer clarity
  • Rotate across pods and accounts to provide focused support where creative needs a jumpstart
  • Push our creative beyond the template: drive the concept, not just the execution




What Success Looks Like


  • Ads with stronger thumbstop %, CTR, ROAS, or CPA across Lucyd accounts
  • A creative library that’s diverse, consistent, and high-quality
  • Internal teams feel more confident in their creative direction
  • Clients trust our creative strategy and feel proud of the output
  • We’re testing faster and producing fewer “safe but forgettable” ads

Role Type & Requirements


  • This is a full-time, in-house remote role. You need to be able to devote your full attention to this position.
  • Agency experience preferred. Performance creative leadership a must.
