About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of People to scale our HR function across the full employee lifecycle. This role is critical in shaping the employee experience and building a high-performance culture as we continue to grow at pace. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, bring a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach, and demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a strong sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the employee experience from onboarding through offboarding.

  • Build and refine processes that scale while ensuring a best-in-class employee journey.

Culture, Engagement & High Performance

  • Partner with leaders to foster a performance-driven, focused and resilient culture.

  • Implement programs that reinforce accountability, continuous feedback, and career growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve compensation frameworks and benefits programs.

  • Partner with leadership to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with performance goals.

HRIS Implementation & People Technology

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new HRIS system.

  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and compliance while enabling scalable processes.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws.

  • Own policies and processes related to employee relations and risk mitigation.

Global Mobility & Immigration

  • Manage employee visas, immigration processes, and global mobility programs.

  • Partner with legal counsel to ensure compliant and efficient handling of mobility cases.

People Operations Excellence

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs.

  • Build scalable processes that support rapid growth and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of progressive HR/People Operations experience.

  • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and best practices.

  • Proven experience leading HRIS system selection and implementation.

  • Track record of building and scaling compensation and benefits programs.

  • Experience managing immigration/visa programs and global mobility.

  • Demonstrated success in shaping or scaling a high-performance culture.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategy to business priorities.
    Exceptional resilience, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
