As a Director of Partnership Management | Ability & Achievement, you will lead the strategy and execution of renewals for CogAT and Iowa assessments, transforming retention into a disciplined growth engine. You will collaborate across Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align renewal messaging with customer value, refine lead qualification processes, and reinforce forecasting rigor. Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing renewals organization for CogAT and Iowa assessments.
  • Operationalize renewal systems and processes to ensure predictable retention.
  • Drive account expansion through upsell, win-back, and usage-based growth strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to align messaging and customer value.
  • Refine Riverside Qualified Lead (RQL) process and collaborate with New Business leadership.
  • Reinforce pipeline hygiene and forecasting rigor
  • Hire, onboard, and develop POD leaders and reps aligned to a renewals-first growth model.
  • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and coaching rhythms.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and collaboration.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience in educational or EdTech sales.
  • Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the educational sales cycle and ability to navigate complex buying processes.
  • Proven ability to lead renewal motions as a strategic revenue engine.
  • Experience driving upsell, win-back, and usage-based growth.
  • Strong discipline around pricing, value articulation, and ACV expansion.
  • Expertise in pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and CRM fluency.
  • Demonstrated success in talent development and organizational design.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and change with clarity and decisiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K–12 education or assessment industry.
  • Familiarity with CogAT and Iowa assessments.
  • Data-driven approach to process improvement and coaching.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and cultural stewardship.

Physical Requirements

  • Remote work environment.
  • Travel 50%–70% for district visits, conferences, and presentations.
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the OTE range for this position is $250,000–$275,000 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States, and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal pay ranges; and market data or range parameter
