Role Overview

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing who is a data-driven, hands‑on leader and a builder of high‑performing teams. You will own Keelvar’s Marketing Strategy and be responsible for delivery of marketing‑sourced pipeline and revenue. This is a great opportunity to help our SaaS brand accelerate our next phase of growth, by leading our evolution from a primarily sales led growth engine (SLG) to a data-driven, hybrid SLG and PLG strategy, using AI to orchestrate Product-Qualified Leads (PQLs) and technical outbound that bridges the gap between our product experience and enterprise revenue. 


Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will manage a talented team to drive predictable pipeline, accelerate product adoption, and sharpen our market positioning. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Turn high-level goals into concrete annual/quarterly plans. Define our ICP, segments, and "AI-first" narrative to ensure we win in a crowded market. Manage and mentor our existing marketing specialists. You will foster a culture of experimentation and high-quality execution.
  • Data Governance & Executive Reporting: Act as the definitive "source of truth" for marketing performance, providing the Senior Leadership Team with transparent, high-impact reporting on pipeline health, revenue attribution, and unit economics. You will own the marketing P&L, ensuring a disciplined, data-backed approach to resource allocation that maintains a healthy CAC and optimized LTV:CAC ratios as we scale.
  • The PLG & PQL Shift: Lead the transition from "leads" to Product-Qualified Leads (PQLs). Use product-usage data to trigger marketing actions that drive self-serve and sales-assisted revenue.
  • Budget & ROI: Own the marketing budget. Make swift, data-backed decisions on resource allocation, particularly across performance channels and high-impact field events.
  • AI-Accelerated Growth: Optimize core channels using AI tools to maintain dominance in search while embedding our product’s AI value proposition into every touchpoint. Drive the internal strategy for leveraging AI within the marketing stack to boost team efficiency in content creation, ad optimization, and personalization.
  • Integrated Growth Strategy: Work within the Growth Org to build and optimize "growth loops." You will ensure marketing campaigns aren't just driving traffic, but are attracting the right users who will find value in the product.
  • Sales Liaison: Act as the primary partner to Sales leadership. Use SLAs and data to ensure lead flow and quality are consistently meeting revenue requirements.

Your profile

  • You have 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or Marketplace marketing Leadership, with a deep understanding of Demand Gen, Growth Marketing and Product Marketing.
  • Bonus: You have successfully navigated (or led) the transition from a traditional sales-led model to a Product-Led Growth (PLG) motion. You know how to define Product-Qualified Leads (PQLs) and build the "hand-raiser" workflows that connect product usage to sales conversations.
  • You have a sophisticated understanding of organic acquisition with demonstrable experience of how to embrace and capitalise on LLMs and GenAI. You speak the language of PMs and Engineers. You understand how data tracking and CRM workflows (HubSpot/Salesforce) impact marketing success.
  • Deep experience building and scaling ABM and outbound programs in lockstep with Sales. You don't just "generate leads"; you architect the plays that land specific, high-value professional services firms.
  • You view field events, roundtables, and trade shows as high-intent pipeline engines. You have a playbook for pre-event targeting, "at-event" experience design, and aggressive post-event conversion.
  • At our scale (130 people), you are happy to jump into a Figma file or a HubSpot workflow one moment to then present a quarterly strategy to the leadership team the next.
  • You are a "power user" of modern AI tools to accelerate content velocity, creative production, and data analysis. You can translate complex AI product capabilities into simple, "must-have" value propositions for a procurement professionals audience.
