What You’ll Do as a [Director of Marketing - Cybersecurity] at Arteris
Arteris is seeking a Director of Marketing - Cybersecurity to define and execute marketing programs for the emerging field of semiconductor cybersecurity assurance. The goal is to establish Arteris as a distinguished market leader and comprehensive solution provider of proactive hardware security assurance. The Arteris security business unit, that you will collaborate with, offers leading-edge products and services to help customers detect and remediate security weaknesses during the semiconductor design process, solving a growing challenge in electronic systems and its underling semiconductors chips and chiplets.
Using your marketing background in cybersecurity, you will define and manage all go-to-market programs for the hardware security assurance products, including business and technical audience awareness, market education, thought leadership promotion, product promotion and launches, demand generation, event organization and execution, collateral development, and support of sales enablement and ongoing communications.
You will primarily partner with the security business unit, including its R&D, sales, and technical field teams, and coordinate all efforts with the broader Arteris marketing team, particularly the Director of Product Management and Marketing (PMM) for Cybersecurity as well as the Brand, Digital, and Ecosystem teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to accelerate the growth of a market-leading semiconductor cybersecurity product line by driving and expanding impactful marketing programs from awareness to customer success
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Marketing programs to build awareness and generate leads for semiconductor cybersecurity assurance. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive, data-driven demand-generation strategy in collaboration with the Digital team.
  • Product Launches in collaboration with PMM including technology positioning, supporting collateral development, articles, blogs, videos, and more.
  • Comprehensive go-to-market for cybersecurity in close collaboration with the Brand and Digital Marketing teams.
  • Support the field organization with best-in-class security collateral, in collaboration with Product Management and Brand teams. This includes supporting the sales and technical field team’s needs for general customer outreach as well as requirements for specific customer engagements.
  • Account-based marketing (ABM) programs for selected high-potential market segments and customers that cover Cybersecurity as part of the broader company solutions portfolio.
  • Event management including identifying, organizing, and executing US events in close collaboration with the Brand team, that include Cybersecurity as well as the broader company solutions portfolio.
  • Ecosystem program support for cybersecurity across partners and standard bodies, in collaboration with the Ecosystem Marketing, Product Management, and R&D teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing as one team.

Experience Requirement/ Qualification:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or national (resident of American Samoa or Swains Island).
  • Strong background in cybersecurity and solid understanding of its market needs and ecosystem dynamics.
  • Background in semiconductor design and government, aerospace & defense is a plus.
  • At least five years of experience in managing key aspects of marketing.
  • Hands-on attitude towards all marketing functions and effective teamwork.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills, including events and lead generation.
  • Strong presentation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in developing and presenting marketing material.
  • Collaborative and passionate about the success of the entire team.
  • Sense of humor and comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
 
Education Requirements:
BS/MS in EE/CE/CS or MBA Marketing/Business, or equivalent
Estimated Base Salary  
  • $180,000 to $210,000 annually. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
