Thank you for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a Director of Investor Relations to support our investor communications strategy and earnings execution as we scale as a public company.

Position Description:

Oklo is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to lead the company’s investor communications strategy, earnings execution, and public-market narrative. This role will serve as the architect and operator of Oklo’s quarterly earnings, steward the company’s investor-facing materials and digital presence, and act as the internal proxy for the investment community.

You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Strategy, Corporate Communications, and Senior Leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality engagement with shareholders, analysts, and the broader financial community. This role requires strong narrative judgment, operational rigor, and the ability to anticipate investor questions before they surface externally.

For this role, New York City, NY is preferred, but other locations may be considered for experienced applicants. Travel is required for this position.

Note: Candidates may be asked to complete an investor communications case study as part of the interview process, which may include earnings messaging development, Q&A preparation, or market analysis exercises.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Own and operate the full quarterly earnings process, including:
    • Earnings deck development
    • Script drafting and coordination
    • Q&A book preparation
    • Shareholder letter development
    • Disclosure calendar management
    • Internal message alignment across leadership
  • Establish and maintain a repeatable, scalable “earnings factory” process.
  • Support development and refinement of Oklo’s long-term investor narrative, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and milestones.
  • Govern all investor-facing materials and messaging for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Oversee the investor relations website, disclosure library, and digital content governance.
  • Manage content distribution, including earnings materials, transcripts, webcasts, and archived materials.
  • Enhance the digital investor experience, including interactive materials and accessibility standards.
  • Ensure alignment with Oklo’s brand architecture while operating independently from Corporate Communications execution.
  • Manage inbound investor inquiry triage and establish response SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain IR dashboards tracking shareholder base, trading activity, analyst sentiment, peer performance, and market dynamics. Deliver weekly market insights and sentiment updates to executive leadership.
  • Monitor peer earnings, industry trends, capital markets developments, and policy activity.
  • Serve as the internal “investor proxy,” proactively identifying narrative or disclosure gaps before the market does.
  • Support investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep interest in the advanced nuclear power and/or radiopharmaceutical sectors with a desire to continuously learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7–12+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, or capital markets.
  • Direct experience leading or heavily supporting quarterly earnings preparation at a public company.
  • Strong understanding of SEC disclosure requirements and public company governance standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting executive-level materials.
  • Ability to translate highly technical or complex content into clear, investor-ready messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and executive reporting frameworks.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, advanced technology, nuclear, or other capital-intensive industries.
  • Experience building IR processes within a scaling public company.
  • Familiarity with IR platforms, CRM tools, and digital distribution systems.

  • Preferred location: New York City or nearby for proximity to investor community.

Who you are:

A startup person: You aren't driven by titles or hierarchy, and you don't need or expect to have a lot of guidance, but you enjoy working in a fast-paced team. If you prefer the culture and feel of a large organization, that is great, but you likely won’t enjoy working with us! There is plenty of important work and plenty of good opportunities with organizations like that.

Motivated: You are self-motivated. You bring enthusiasm to the team and imbue a sense of passion that goes beyond clocking in and clocking out. This isn’t about a fake or arbitrary “pieces of flair” mentality or lack of work-life balance! It is about being a part of the vision and feeling a part of reaching team goals.

A team-player: Oklo genuinely is a team. We aren’t about taking credit for ourselves, and we aren’t about pushing blame to others. We do incredible things because we work as a team.

An excellent communicator: We need a person who is not only technically competent but also a clear and upbeat communicator verbally, in written form, and via presentations.

Creative: Being creative means that when things fall outside clear scopes or processes or problems arise without clear solutions, you can identify it as well as invent ways to solve a problem or fill a need without micromanagement. The successful person in this job will enjoy being creative and solving open-ended problems which may change day by day.

Process and detail-oriented: This focus is a big part of excellence, consistency, and quality.
