You’ll be the driving force behind Alo’s international site merchandising —making sure every global customer sees the right product, in the right colors, with the right story at the right time. You’ll shape how our brand shows up across regions by turning performance insights into smart merchandising strategies, tailoring content to local trends, and ensuring site experiences feel relevant in every market. From aligning on product availability to managing translations and localized pricing, you’ll orchestrate the workflows that keep international launches seamless and our growing global audience engaged.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and evolve the international site merchandising strategy to drive global growth, localized conversion, and culturally relevant customer experiences across all regions.
  • Translate international priorities into clear merchandising strategies by optimizing regional product performance—across assortments, colors, best sellers, and reverse seasonality—and influencing buying and planning decisions with data-backed insights.
  • Enhance product discoverability and on-site experience by tailoring navigation, categorization, sorting logic, and homepage/content storytelling to reflect local demand trends, cultural calendars, and regional campaign needs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with global teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and localized purchase-decision support—including sizing guidance and measurements—alongside accurate availability and clear shipping expectations.
  • Deliver analytically grounded international insights on customer behavior, competitive landscape, and regional performance to guide global decision-making, future product investments, and ongoing site optimization.
  • Localize global content and site experiences by overseeing content that reflects regional trends and preferences, managing translation workflows, and partnering on localized pricing strategies across markets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in e-commerce or site merchandising, with significant exposure to international markets and global  
  • Proven success operating with luxury, premium, and fast-growing  global brands.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate regional performance data into buying, planning, and merchandising strategies.
  • Experience leading teams across a matrixed organization and collaborating with global cross-functional partners.
  • Deep understanding of geographical differences in weather and seasonality, product and color preferences, purchase-evaluation criteria, and regional shopping behaviors.
  • Extensive hands-on expertise with leading e-commerce platforms and analytics tools (Shopify, GA, Tableau, etc.), plus familiarity with regional site requirements.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence buying, planning, and marketing teams globally.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment—comfortable with scrappy, creative problem-solving while also instilling best-in-class processes that support global scale.

The base salary range for this position is $180,000-$200,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
