 Overview of the Role 

  • The Director of Kroger Insights will champion the development and maintenance of the go-to-market analytics designed to support, track, and grow core and new product initiatives for its principal brands.
  • Location: Remote but must be local to Cincinnati, OH 
  • Salary: $120,000 - $130,000, based on experience, qualifications and skills. 
  • Travel Requirements:  10-20% to present at Kroger HQ and team trainings.

 What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune   

  • Lead a team of insight analysts responsible for client reporting, retailer category reviews, client/retailer performance, etc. 
  • Drive proficiency of the analytical tools and resources across the team. 
  • Improve methodology related to reporting, analysis, identifying distribution voids, and quantifying opportunity gaps. 
  • Development, training, and workload management of insights team as well as training cross -functional teams.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of programs and develop course-correction methodologies
  • Be a strategic advisor to internal and external stakeholders

What You Should Bring to the Table 

  • Have a player/coach mindset that can lead and evolve team culture
  • History of being a servant leader to a team
  • Extensive knowledge of Kroger Operations & Processes
  • Proven history of conflict resolution
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 7-10 years CPG industry sales and category management experience & 3+ years of Kroger experience
  • High level of proficiency in SPINs (Satori), Nielsen, IRI data, Market 6, & 84.51 Stratum (at least of a Gold subscription, experience with Platinum would be a plus)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinker
  • Advanced communications skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise manner 
  • In-depth experience in selling story development, category reviews & category management principals 
  • A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines 
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and make sure team deadlines are met.

You Will Stand Out If

  • Experience with Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Experience leading a team of 3+ more individuals.
  • Knowledge of revenue management
