AI overview

Lead the IT operations at Talkiatry by managing enterprise systems and a fast-growing team to ensure secure and efficient technology services that empower healthcare providers.
The Director of IT will lead Talkiatry’s information technology operations and enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, security, and a seamless user experience across a fully remote workforce. This leader will oversee the fast growing IT team, manage enterprise tools and applications, and partner across departments to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IT services that empower clinicians and staff alike.  About Talkiatry: Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.        60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.  You will:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Talkiatry’s IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing operational excellence, automation, and security.
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure: Oversee enterprise IT systems, endpoint management, identity and access management, and collaboration tools. Ensure reliable and secure operation across all business systems and devices.
  • SaaS Application Management: Manage Talkiatry’s portfolio of SaaS applications, ensuring seamless integration with Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management.
  • Oversee provisioning, access controls, and deprovisioning workflows.
  • Evaluate and onboard new SaaS platforms aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain visibility into license utilization, configuration, and compliance.
  • IT Governance & Security: Partner with the Information Security team to maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory frameworks. Implement and monitor IT controls and secure operational processes.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and procurement processes. Optimize licensing, spend, and performance across all managed systems.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing and highly distributed (6+ employee) IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence in a remote-first environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure technology supports organizational needs and employee success. Partner effectively on initiatives such as onboarding/offboarding, system integrations, and workplace enablement.
  • Service Management: Leverage ServiceNow to enhance IT service delivery through structured incident, request, and change management processes. Drive efficiency and measurable service improvements.
  • Enablement: Champion automation and self-service initiatives that improve employee productivity and satisfaction.
