Compensation: The salary for this role is $150,000-$165,000, with bonus potential available.

Datamark, Inc. is seeking a strategic leader for the role of Director of Finance & Accounting. The Director of Finance & Accounting position offers the opportunity to work closely with the executive team, similar to the responsibilities of a CFO, but with a focus on operational excellence and day-to-day financial management. This role involves developing financial strategies that align with company objectives while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Core Competencies:

  • Strategic Leadership: The Director of Finance & Accounting will lead the finance and accounting teams in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Global Oversight: Provide leadership with oversight extending to our operations in the U.S., Mexico, and India.
  • Financial Strategy: Formulate and implement robust financial strategies, policies, procedures, budgets, controls, and reporting systems to maintain financial integrity and promote organizational growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Inform key stakeholders about financial performance, outline potential risks, and recommend ways to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts to support the company’s goals.
  • Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes while analyzing variances and making recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years in the accounting field, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to drive business success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
