Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and inspire top engineering talent
Set performance expectations and build pathways for career growth
Align the team around vision and organizational goals
Product Development
Research, evaluate, and innovate new product offerings
Optimize existing solutions and oversee testing/documentation
Technical Expertise & Training
Provide technical consultation to customers and internal teams
Create resources for sales, marketing, and training
Deliver impactful presentations to engineers, specifiers, and clients
Commercial Strategy
Build strong customer relationships
Lead strategy and vision for commercial services
Drive revenue goals and department KPIs
Requirements
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license(s)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering + 8+ years in geotechnical/structural engineering
Expertise in soil mechanics, deep foundation design, and building construction
Leadership experience managing technical teams and setting vision
Proficiency in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and materials expertise (steel, concrete)
Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Willingness to travel occasionally across the U.S. and Canada
