Lead the evolution of the internal platform for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD while establishing QA standards and enhancing operational reliability in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Platform Leadership: Proven experience leading platform/infrastructure engineering teams in fintech, banking, or high-scale digital environments.
Broad Engineering Domain: Strong understanding across cloud operations (AWS/Azure), DevOps/DevSecOps, mobile engineering, QA, and modern SRE practices.
Security & Compliance: Hands-on knowledge of security and regulatory compliance frameworks (DORA, GDPR/DSGVO, BaFin).
Scaling Horizontal Functions: Track record of scaling platform/shared teams to enable broader engineering orgs efficiently.
Multiplier mindset: focuses on enabling product teams and driving outcomes over team size.
Cross-functional Influence: Excellent cross-functional influence with Engineering, Security, Finance, and Executive leadership.
Operational rigor: establishes SLAs, incident management, on-call, and data-driven metrics.
Advocate for AI adoption to improve engineering productivity and automation at scale.
Skilled in change management: introducing standards and tools through enablement, not top-down mandates.
Security Engineering: Deep technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, containers, cost optimization, and security engineering (zero-trust, secrets management, secure SDLC).
Strong observability and reliability knowledge: SLOs, error budgets, incident response, post-mortem culture, and resilient system design.
