  • Actively participate in architecture and design reviews, providing guidance on technical decisions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Mentor and train team members, enhancing their skills and performance through coaching.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains across engineering operations.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively to meet project milestones.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on engineering practices at Allucent.

Requirements

To be successful you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience in developing scalable and maintainable software applications.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare domain is a plus.
