This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team.
This position will report into the CTO.
What you get to do:
Oversee the full SDLC process from planning to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Implement Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to drive high quality deliverables
Develop product line roadmaps with product management teams, outlining feature sets aligned with timeline expectations
Establish engineering best practices that support collaboration, code reuse, efficiency, and scalability
Partner with stakeholders to review SDLC progress, anticipate changes in business objectives, and identify areas for improvement
Lead end to end user testing to ensure customer satisfaction and provide feedback on product enhancements or required adjustments
What you bring:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 10 plus years of experience in software engineering leadership
Strong experience with software development and technology practices within e Commerce environments
Proven ability to own architecture decisions and clearly communicate required investments and business value across the organization
Demonstrated success in building and scaling teams, including coaching and managing performance at a leadership level
Experience evaluating vendor software and making build versus buy decisions that balance risk, cost, and time to market
