The Role
As the Director of PM, Data, you will lead the Product Management function for our data and intelligence ecosystem, overseeing the strategic direction, roadmap development, and execution of data products across the entire lifecycle, from ingestion and hygiene through algorithm development and brand safety models. Your role is to build and mentor a high-performing product organization that treats data as the platform's secret sauce, combining deep technical expertise with strategic vision to ensure every data initiative drives systematic, efficient, and scalable creator-brand matches. You will align product efforts with business objectives, fostering innovation in AI-driven data solutions.
What You’ll Do

Lead Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate the long-term product vision and strategy for the data ecosystem, aligning it with company goals, market trends, and stakeholder needs. Conduct data market research, competitor analysis, and feedback sessions to inform strategic decisions.

Own the Product Roadmap: Develop, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap for data products, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, AI/ML, and business units to ensure timely and high-quality product launches.

Mentor and Build PM Team: Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of product managers focused on data, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on product best practices, prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, Kano), and agile methodologies.

Own Data Infrastructure and Insights: Assume ownership and extend existing infrastructure into a robust multi-source data product, ensuring continuous data hygiene, validation pipelines, and scalable features for first-party accuracy.

Develop Core Matching Algorithms: Lead the product development of matching algorithms as core features, connecting brands and creators based on performance and fit, using ingested campaign data to inform and iterate on product capabilities.

Manage Data Collection Products: Oversee the product management of data collection tools, including first- and third-party data across major social platforms, building scraping mechanisms where needed to enhance data completeness and usability.

Ensure Trust Infrastructure: Define and implement product features for brand safety models and data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, trust, and user-centric design for brands.

Collaborate on Outcomes and Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with the Head of Creators, Head of Brands, and other stakeholders on shared OKRs to optimize match quality and outcomes, facilitating executive-level communications and alignment on data product priorities.

Execute with Agility: Serve as a strong executor who can quickly define product requirements, write detailed user stories and PRDs, and work directly with engineers to meet aggressive timelines, such as the Alpha Launch.
What You’ll Bring

Product Management Leadership: 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a director-level or senior leadership role, preferably in high-growth tech or data platform companies. Proven track record of building and scaling product teams.

Data and Intelligence Fluency: Prior experience running product for data-intensive platforms, with deep familiarity in large data sets, complex matching algorithms, and two-sided marketplaces. Experience from companies handling scalable data challenges is highly valued.

Strategic Product Expertise: Strong ability to define product roadmaps, execute against them quickly and resourcefully in an ambitious startup environment, and drive go-to-market strategies that enhance data efficiency, scale, and platform value.

Systems Thinking and Scalability: Experience building scalable data products, including hygiene, validation, and governance systems for managing a rapidly growing, global data ecosystem.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in translating metrics, user feedback, and data insights into actionable product decisions. Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar for product analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a history of working effectively with engineering, data science, AI/ML, and business teams to deliver impactful data products.

Agile and Innovative Mindset: Comfortable in fast-paced environments, with a bias for action and the ability to navigate ambiguity while fostering innovation, especially in AI-driven data solutions.
