What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement contract strategies that align with business objectives, drive revenue, and reduce risk
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on contractual, financial, and regulatory matters
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives to modernize contract processes and improve visibility across the organization

Team & Culture

  • Lead and mentor a talented contracts team (administrators, coordinators, and managers), fostering professional growth and accountability
  • Promote a culture of partnership, transparency, and operational excellence
  • Create scalable systems and workflows that support both current and future growth

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee contract negotiation, drafting, and management across labor services and technical solutions
  • Partner with Growth teams to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and negotiation frameworks
  • Manage contract reviews, renewals, and modifications to ensure compliance and continuity
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to federal regulations, company policies, and DCAA requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments for complex agreements and implement effective mitigation plans
  • Oversee contractual actions such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Reps & Certs, contract types, purchase orders, pricing spreadsheets, task orders, and GSA documentation

Must Haves

  • Active Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, ideally within government contracting or a technical services environment
  • Proven experience leading a contracts organization, including direct management of contracts professionals, development and implementation of enterprise-wide contract strategies and policies, and oversight of large, complex contract portfolios with significant financial and operational impact.
  • Proven ability to lead large contract portfolios and high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of contract law, federal acquisition regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Costpoint or similar contract management systems

Nice to Haves:

  • CPCM or CFCM certification
  • Experience modernizing contract processes through technology or automation

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
