About the Role
Limble is scaling quickly and building a brand that reflects both a high-performing business and a strong internal culture. The Director of Communications is responsible for designing and orchestrating how, when, and where Limble communicates to employees, customers, partners, and the broader market.
This is a strategic and hands-on role that owns the company’s communication architecture. You will shape executive messaging, define communication systems and channels, and ensure that internal and external narratives are aligned, consistent, and impactful. You will work closely with Marketing and the People function to build trust internally, strengthen the company’s external voice, and elevate the brand of Limble and its leaders.
This role requires exceptional writing and storytelling skills, strong business judgment, and the ability to operate across executive, operational, and cultural contexts.
What You’ll Do
Communication Strategy & Architecture
Define and own Limble’s company-wide communication strategy
Establish clear frameworks for what gets communicated, by whom, through which channels, and at what cadence
Align internal and external messaging to ensure a consistent narrative across audiences
Evaluate and optimize communication systems and tools to improve clarity and effectiveness
Create communication standards that scale with company growth
Executive & Leadership Communications
Own CEO communications strategy, including executive messaging, speeches, and written communications
Build and manage the external brand presence of the CEO and senior leaders, particularly on platforms such as LinkedIn
Partner with executives to clarify messaging around company strategy, priorities, and performance
Prepare leaders for high-stakes communications and public-facing engagements
Internal Communications & Organizational Alignment
Partner with the Chief People Officer to design and execute internal communication strategies that support engagement and performance
Develop internal messaging that reinforces company priorities, culture, and change initiatives
Create rhythms and channels that improve organizational transparency and alignment
Support major organizational announcements, transformations, and change efforts
Ensure employees understand company direction and how their work connects to outcomes
External Communications & Brand
Lead external communications including press releases, announcements, and media messaging
Partner with Marketing to align communications with brand strategy and market positioning
Support company storytelling across owned and earned channels
Protect and strengthen Limble’s brand reputation through clear, consistent messaging
Develop communication playbooks for launches, milestones, and key events
Systems, Governance & Execution
Define communication governance, roles, and responsibilities across the organization
Ensure effective adoption and use of communication platforms
Build scalable processes for message development, review, and distribution
Measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve impact
Operate as both strategist and executor, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Key Outcomes (12–24 Months)
A clear, scalable communication architecture is established and consistently used across the company
Internal communication rhythms improve organizational alignment and employee understanding of strategy
The CEO and leadership team develop a strong, credible external presence
External communications elevate Limble’s market visibility and brand reputation
Employees report improved clarity and transparency in company messaging
Communication systems are streamlined, reducing noise and increasing effectiveness
Major company initiatives are supported by coordinated, high-impact communication plans

What You Bring
8–12+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, or brand communications
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Experience supporting senior executives and managing high-stakes messaging
Strong understanding of internal communications and organizational dynamics
Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capability
Experience building communication frameworks and systems in scaling organizations
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence across functions
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
A strong point of view on effective communication and brand building
