ABOUT THE ROLE
Director, Strategy & Operations at Bright Machines partners directly closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive high-impact initiatives across the organization. In this role you will be a strategic and operational leader partner to the executive leadership team, driving cross-functional initiatives, accelerating strategic priorities, and boosting organizational effectiveness. You’ll play a key role in shaping company direction, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring that the business executes efficiently and cohesively at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Source, shape, and drive new AI and data center infrastructure manufacturing opportunities across KSA, UAE, and the broader GCC
Lead complex, high-value ($20M+) infrastructure sales cycles from origination through negotiation and close
Win net-new logos and expand strategic accounts through executive engagement, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination
Define and execute the Middle East go-to-market strategy, prioritizing key segments, partners, and programs
Build executive relationships with regional cloud providers, sovereign entities, telecom operators, and government-backed initiatives
Develop and manage the regional partner and channel ecosystem to accelerate scale
Leverage demand generation and structured sales processes to penetrate and grow target accounts
Ensure compliance with local procurement, regulatory, and sovereign program requirements
Represent Bright Machines at senior industry and government forums across the region
Travel up to 50% as required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
10+ years of enterprise business development experience in the Middle East with strong knowledge of regional buying dynamics
Bachelor’s degree required with advanced degree preferred
Proven record closing $10M–$100M+ complex infrastructure deals in multi-stakeholder environments
Established C-level relationships across KSA and UAE with the ability to drive executive alignment
Experience selling to Saudi ministries, PIF-backed entities, and leading regional operators including G42, Khazna, Mobily, STC, e&, Equinix, and Moro Hub
Strong understanding of KSA Vision 2030 priorities, sovereign digital transformation programs, hyperscale and sovereign cloud markets, and AI compute infrastructure
Demonstrated success winning net-new strategic accounts and expanding long-term platform engagements
Background in datacenter, automation, advanced manufacturing, or AI infrastructure environments
Collaborative, self-directed operator who delivers results in a distributed
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD
Arabic language fluency (not mandatory but strong plus)
Prior experience selling Datacenter services, AI infrastructure, automation and/or manufacturing
Direct experience with Datacenter expansion and colocation services
Familiarity with sovereign cloud requirements and data regulations
Experience scaling early-stage technology into GCC
Experience at a high-growth technology, robotics, automation, or deep-tech company
