Job Summary:

    FullStack is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Artificial Intelligence to join our team. As the Director of AI, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding our Artificial (AI) practice at FullStack. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the strategic direction, development, and execution of AI projects, driving innovation, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

In this Role You Will:

  • Provide visionary leadership, set clear goals, and establish performance metrics to drive the growth and success of our FullStack AI practice.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify potential AI opportunities and actively participate in client meetings and presentations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their AI requirements, provide expert guidance, and propose innovative AI solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Nurture and expand client relationships by delivering exceptional value and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee client engagements that involve AI, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions of other AI consultancies to expand our capabilities.
  • Manage profit and loss, growing department and company revenue.
  • Allocate resources effectively, manage project timelines, and ensure adherence to project plans and milestones.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop technical vetting processes for hiring AI developers, such as coding challenges and interview questions.
  • Evaluate candidates and help select and build teams based on project specifications.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation within the AI practice, fostering the development of new methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI to enhance internal processes and optimize business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) leading and growing an AI practice or division at a consultancy.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement AI strategies, drive business development, and engage with clients effectively at a consultancy.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
  • Strong understanding of AI project lifecycle, from ideation and scoping to deployment and maintenance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex AI challenges.
  • Experience creating and implementing technical vetting processes to assess potential hires.
  • Experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest AI advancements and industry trends.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
