What you’ll do 

As Director of Accounting Operations, you will lead and continuously develop the operational finance function across all German entities. You ensure efficient, compliant and scalable end-to-end accounting processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and General Ledger. 

• Lead, mentor and develop the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger teams (approx. 20 FTE) through their respective Team Leads 
• Own the timely and high-quality monthly close process across all operational accounting areas in Germany (12 Legal Entities) 
• Ensure efficient and compliant execution of O2C, P2P and GL processes across all German entities 
• Ensure efficient and compliant execution of O2C, P2P and GL processes across all German entities 
• Ensure strong internal controls and operational compliance within the finance function 
• Serve as key interface between Finance Operations, Group Accounting and other internal stakeholders 

What you’ll bring 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in operational accounting, including leadership responsibility 
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (O2C, P2P, GL) 
• Experience in multi-entity environments 
• Solid ERP expertise, ideally Workday Finance 
• Strong leadership mindset combined with operational hands-on capability 
• Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style 
• Fluent in German and English
