Accountabilities

  • Lead the centralized analytical function for tools, technologies, and software engineering within the OCIDO department.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial planning tools, strategy management tools, architecture and project management tools, data integrations, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Partner with IT governance and advisory teams to align delivery with portfolio requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, establishing delivery methodology, technical standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product and technical roadmaps.
  • Identify, evaluate, prototype, and implement emerging technologies to enhance digital capabilities.
  • Oversee integration of new tools into existing systems and ensure effective use of data for decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive successful software initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale agile software projects and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong strategic thinking across business, product, and technical domains.
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing engineers and future leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with software, services, and technology vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Preferred: background in software engineering, IT consulting, client engagement, or delivering software using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
