Director IT Infra & Cloud Operations

•        Lead and manage all IT infrastructure operations, covering on-premises systems, data centres, cloud environments, and network architecture.

•        Design and implement a hybrid cloud strategy balancing performance, security, and cost.

•        Ensure 24×7 availability, scalability, and security of mission-critical systems.

•        Drive network modernization and connectivity optimization across domestic and international sites.

•        Establish and enforce global IT governance, data privacy, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).

•        Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and regular global infrastructure audits.

•        Oversee enterprise connectivity across offices, plants, and global entities.

•        Manage multi-region IT infrastructure budgets, service delivery, and vendor SLAs.

•        Mentor a diverse IT team and foster collaboration across countries and time zones.

•        Establish strong data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

•        Collaborate with global technology vendors, cloud providers, and security partners to align with best practices.

•        Drive implementation of information security standards and compliance protocols.

•        Manage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and optimize cloud usage and cost.

•        Lead the infrastructure modernization roadmap — automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.

•        Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support infrastructure needs for smart metering solutions and IoT data flows.

•        Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and annual IT budgets for infrastructure and cloud services.

•        Build and mentor a strong internal IT infra and operations team.

Requirements

•        12–18 years of experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure and global cloud operations.

•        Expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), servers, storage, and cybersecurity.

•        Proven track record of leading hybrid infrastructure environments across regions like APAC, EMEA, or NAM. 

•        Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, DR frameworks, and information security standards.

•        Experience in manufacturing, industrial IoT, or technology-driven organizations preferred.

•        Excellent leadership, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.

•        Excellent vendor management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
