In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma.

What You'll Do

You are a highly technical, strategic IT partner and hands-on technical owner for People, Legal, and Corporate Communications functions. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports initially. You will partner closely with People Operations, Legal Operations and Corporate Communications to provide platform architecture and stewardship, vendor technical oversight, change/release and production support.

You will own a 12–36 month technology & AI roadmap for People, Legal, and Corporate Communications, translate priorities into technical architecture and delivery plans, and make technical/vendor decisions within delegated authority. You will collaborate on core platform programs for the business functions you support (e.g. Workday and Greenhouse, Enterprise CLM and CounselLink, etc.), and drive enterprise-wide AI initiatives to operational adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical architecture and platform engineering leadership for People, Legal and Corporate Communications: design reference architectures, define platform capabilities and integration requirements, and set technical acceptance criteria for vendors
  • Own the 12–36 month technology & AI roadmap for People, Legal and Corporate Communications; prioritize investments, publish KPIs and make technical/vendor decisions within delegated thresholds
  • Lead enterprise-wide AI strategy: sponsor pilots, scale successful pilots into production services, enforce governance/privacy controls and represent IT in cross-functional AI governance
  • Partner with People Operations, Legal Operations and Corporate Communications to co-create governance, change-control and escalation models; deliver technical guidance, runbooks and training while respecting business system ownership
  • Collaborate on the delivery and stewardship for People platforms: define technical requirements, manage vendor execution, support testing and go-live, and enable steady-state operations for Workday, VNDLY, Greenhouse and related systems
  • Drive CLM and Legal systems: lead selection and operational rollout of an enterprise CLM; steward matter/invoicing and commercial compliance tooling and ensure vendors deliver required finance/identity integrations
  • Steward Corporate Communications platforms and workflows: translate communications needs into technical requirements, manage vendors, and ensure content governance, measurement and compliance alignment
  • Lead the vendor lifecycle for medium/large investments: RFPs, technical selection, contracting, commercial negotiation and vendor governance
  • Own vendor commercial terms and SLAs; coordinate security/privacy/compliance assessments with IT Security and Legal; run quarterly governance and maintain vendor scorecards
  • Provide technical oversight to vendors and contingent workers: set acceptance criteria, review technical deliverables, approve production releases in scope, and drive remediation or decommissioning when contractual or security standards are not met
  • Own operational readiness and post-launch support: incident response, monitoring dashboards, continuous improvement and audit readiness (SOX/GxP/privacy)

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role based in BridgeBio’s San Francisco office, with an in-office collaboration cadence of 3 days per week. This is a compelling opportunity to join a high-impact, dynamic team as an individual contributor, shaping the IT roadmap and business strategy that help accelerate life-changing treatments for patients.

Who You Are

You bring the right mix of strategy, delivery, and technical leadership:

1.      Education & experience: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent; ~8+ years delivering enterprise-ready People, Legal, and Corporate Communications technology with 3+ years at a senior technical or architect level

2.      Technical architect and implementer: deep, hands-on experience in enterprise platform architecture, SaaS implementations, API and data design, security and production operations

3.      Strategic partner and roadmap owner: proven experience defining multi-year technology roadmaps and translating them into executable programs and KPIs

4.      Enterprise AI leader: proven experience defining and delivering enterprise-wide AI strategy, sponsoring pilots and scaling production services with governance and cross-functional adoption

5.      Domain flexibility: detailed People, Legal or Corporate Communications business-process knowledge is helpful but not required; you will partner with subject-matter experts for process definition

6.      People platform expert: prior experience in Workday (design, deployment, enterprise integrations); familiarity with VNDLY and Greenhouse

7.      CLM & Legal systems practitioner: prior experience in CLM, commercial compliance, matter and invoicing systems in production

8.      Corporate Communications technology experience: practical exposure to enterprise communications/content management/intranet or digital distribution platforms and the ability to translate communications needs into technical requirements (domain expertise helpful but not required)

9.      Vendor & commercial operator: proven ability to run technical RFPs, negotiate contracts, own SLAs and run vendor governance and remediation

10. Technical judgement for vendor oversight: able to define acceptance criteria, evaluate vendor deliverables and approve production releases without owning vendor execution

11. Operations & compliance steward: experience with incident response, monitoring, continuous improvement and delivering in SOX/GxP/privacy contexts

12. Influential communicator and change agent: proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, present technical cases and drive adoption across functions
