Director, Implementation (Enterprise Segment)

About the Role:

The "Director of Implementation" is a newly created role for Motive's Enterprise segment and is crucial for the continue growth and success of Motive.  This role reports directly into the Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for leading the Enterprise Onboarding Team as well as the Customer Education team.  In this role you will be responsible for successfully rolling out Motive products to our largest customers (750+ vehicles) at an anticipated rate of 2 new enterprise customer per week.  You will also play a pivotal role in product evolution to adapt to the needs of the market and customer base, driving overall offering maturity to scale. 

What You'll Do:

  • Inspire a productive, customer-centric culture and energized workforce
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to deliver a smooth transition from sales-to-onboarding, provide a highly impressive implementation result - outcomes and experiences - and ensure a smooth transition to Custom Success Management
  • Assist with customer escalations and takes ownership of in-flight product and process related obstacles that occur, providing objection handling and action plans for quick resolution
  • Drive product adoption, engagement, and advocacy
  • Product - identify, prioritize, and advocate for product enhancements representing the voice of the customer and the Post Sale stakeholders; works closely with Product, Sales, and the customer to ensure product customer-initiated product enhancement requests are captured and socialized to key Motive stakeholders  
  • Assist Motive Professional Services and Motive Product with customer integration strategy and project-level integration deployment planning and execution
  • Assists in delivering Motive customer education, empowerment and value sessions

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in a consulting / project management capacity at a SaaS company
  • Experience as a department head driving the strategy for building / shaping a best-in-class onboarding operation
  • Experience working with Fortune 100 customers (and successful implementation) 
  • Experience leading, influencing, and managing managers
  • Exceptional Communication (both verbally and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to customer sites required (approx. 10%)
  • Must reside in the in Continental US
  • In-depth knowledge of Fleet and/or Credit Card and/or hardware processes preferred
