Executive Summary
The Director, Human Resources (Head of HR) is a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping the overall people strategy and leading the HR function across the organization. This role requires a strategic leader with proven experience in organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations.
The Director, HR will lead and mentor a team of four HR professionals while acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters. This includes upholding and advancing MML’s open shop culture, ensuring that HR policies, communications, and people programs reinforce a merit-based, inclusive environment built on trust and collaboration. This role is about building, modernizing, and leading HR transformation, not maintaining status quo.
This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives, support operational needs, and foster a strong organizational culture.
