What we’re looking for:
Our continued dramatic growth has created the need for a director to lead our rapidly expanding Peachtree Corners warehouse operations, which supports our manufacturing site. Suitable leaders must have detailed knowledge of supply chain best practices, the business systems used to enact them, and the creation of strategic roadmaps to reach performance excellence. This role will have the ability to structure and develop their internal organization, while also building productive relationships with key global stakeholders. A key focus will be to continue to drive common practices with common systems in all warehouse activities as we move to an S4Hana systems environment. These warehouse operations must be scalable based on SIOP operational needs. Oversite of business systems and warehouse operational systems upgrades is key to our success in driving world class warehouse solutions.
Primary responsibilities include:
This key senior management position will lead several warehouses including shipping, receiving, space management, resource planning and safety; on our Peachtree Corners campus with global Interaction with other campus warehouse leadership to deliver world class warehouse performance. They will also be part of the global logistics organization with goals to support manufacturing operations with inbound materials, maximize product availability, warehouse capacity/capability and assure optimal product delivery. Using Lean principles, this leader will establish company warehousing protocols around SOX, ISO, regulatory and compliance in support of corporate guidelines. This leader will determine our campus warehousing strategies to ensure service levels and KPI’s are met.
Critical Success Factors:
Execute the vision for warehouse layouts for Peachtree Corners site build specs.
Continue to drive the discussion on use of new automated warehouse technologies such as automated material delivery.
Contributes to capital selection process to ensure purchases support operations and growth.
Partner with Global Supply Chain/Purchasing to drive initiatives inclusive of purchasing, planning, warehousing, and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting of replenishment needs to the delivery of finished products to finished goods warehouses and distribution.

Manage transactional integrity and establish controls to ensure Intuitive is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Work jointly with all warehouse campuses to ensure strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team are in place to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class warehousing group in support of the Global Supply Chain
Look at the organizational structure, technical capability, business processes, and systems necessary to achieve the company’s current and future objectives and propose suggested changes.
Communicating strategic and tactical decisions through formal updates to a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive-level, finance, logistics and operations support teams
Works collaboratively with other departments regarding operational policies and procedures.
Interactions may involve attempting to influence peers and senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Continue to build a well-motivated and cohesive management team to accomplish business objectives by means of leadership and team building initiatives.
Build credibility and effective relationships with warehouse leaders, peers, and direct reports.
Attract and retain a high-performing team by leading with inclusion and diversity to attract and motivate people to produce their best work.
Lead the organization to improve operational quality, efficiency, and minimize labor overtime as well as premium freight expenses.
Instill a lean methodology and mentality of continuous improvement within management and staff.
Ensure and maintain compliance with all global medical and financial regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Participate in the design and implementation of S4Hana and related warehouse WM systems.
Establishes annual goals and objectives, in coordination with corporate objectives and manages performance to ensure attainment.
Continue the evolution of warehouse metric dashboards and analytics to measure performance, guide decisions, and drive business continuity.
Create labor models to support future growth and drive the decision-making regarding capital, resources, and insourcing vs outsourcing strategies.
Cultivate a healthy work environment aligned with company culture and values.
Always maintain corporate confidentiality.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of experience leading high-tech and or medical device warehousing and supply chain. Experience in a fast-growing multibillion-dollar company preferred.
Professional management certification such as APICS CPIM or equivalent work experience.
Strong business and financial acumen in supply chain, global logistics, planning and regulatory compliance.
Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams with a history of world class performance.
Inspiring leadership skills to recruit, motivate, and develop the top talent required in a high growth environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical skills are required.
Detailed knowledge of enterprise scale warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, multi-echelon inventory management, and visibility systems desired.
