Ever.Ag is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Director of Dairy Market Intelligence to lead analysis and forecasting across U.S. and global dairy markets. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced economist or market strategist who thrives at the intersection of data, industry insight, and executive influence.
As a key thought leader within the Ever.Ag Insights platform, you will drive dairy market research that informs procurement, risk management, investment, and policy decisions for some of the most sophisticated participants in the dairy value chain. You will lead a team of analysts, elevate forecasting standards, and serve as a trusted voice to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
This role offers the opportunity to influence industry dialogue, represent Ever.Ag at major forums, and guide market participants through evolving supply, demand, trade, and regulatory dynamics.
Drive economic analysis of U.S. and global dairy markets, including supply/demand fundamentals, trade flows, farm economics, processing margins, and price dynamics
Shape and maintain the Ever.Ag dairy market forecast
Evaluate policy and regulatory developments and assess their market implications
Develop clear, data-driven narratives that bring context to complex market movements
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and Ever.Ag’s financial services division
Lead recurring client market update calls and provide forward-looking perspectives
Support procurement, risk management, and investment strategy discussions
Respond to bespoke client data and commentary requests
Maintain and analyze large dairy market datasets
Develop reports, presentations, outlook decks, and briefings
Establish research methodology and analytical standards
Translate quantitative findings into compelling written and visual content
Cultivate a strong external network of dairy industry experts and market participants
Represent Ever.Ag at conferences, industry events, and private market discussions
Engage in policy and regulatory conversations shaping the dairy sector
Manage, coach, and develop economists and analysts
Set performance expectations and ensure methodological rigor
Allocate resources to align research output with business and client priorities
Foster a culture of analytical excellence and continuous development
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Agricultural Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
7+ years of experience in economic research, forecasting, or market analysis with at least 2 years of people manager experience.
Deep understanding of agricultural or commodity markets REQUIRED (dairy preferred)
Experience leading or mentoring analysts or research teams REQUIRED
Strong quantitative and statistical analysis capabilities
Advanced Excel and presentation skills; experience with statistical/data analysis tools preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex economics into clear business insight
You are a recognized subject-matter expert in dairy markets
Your forecasts influence real-world procurement, pricing, and risk strategies
Your team produces trusted, high-quality market intelligence
Clients rely on you for clarity during volatile market conditions
