Please note this is an onsite role in Redwood City, CA. Please do not apply if you are not local, do not plan to relocate and/or do not plan to come onsite. Remote locations will not be considered.

The Director, Corporate Strategy drives quantitative and qualitative analysis for high-priority, cross-functional issues—ranging from M&A evaluation to market entry—and provides actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Assess operational performance through market research and data analysis to lead long-term strategic planning and corporate prioritization.
  • Research & Insights: Lead innovative market-based research to identify growth opportunities, synthesizing complex data into high-impact insights for executive decision-making.
  • Executive Communication: Craft compelling narratives, memos, and presentations to influence senior leadership and align internal/external stakeholders.
  • Project Leadership: Manage complex strategy projects across organizational boundaries, overseeing end-to-end deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Corporate Development: Monitor global market trends and the M&A landscape to develop deal theses and conduct landscape analyses of potential targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Biological Sciences
  • Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in strategy, consulting, or finance
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in Strategy or Management Consulting.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, quantitative rigor, and the executive presence necessary to drive change in a fast-paced environment.

The expected salary range for this position in Redwood City, CA is between $190,000 and $230,000. Actual pay will be determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance as well as an equity package.
