About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Director of Commercial Analytics to partner closely with our Commercial division and drive transformative insights across the organisation.

This role is critical in shaping Moodle’s commercial performance and strategy — translating operational drivers into meaningful financial insight and ensuring we are a data-driven, performance-focused organisation.

You will build and lead our commercial reporting and analytics capability, providing clear, actionable insight that informs strategic decisions across Marketing, Sales, Delivery and our Partner ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

Most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

  • Developing and reporting commercial KPIs aligned to Moodle’s global strategy
  • Building forecasting models informed by historical data and market trends
  • Providing performance insight to ELT across weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
  • Supporting the Partner Program strategy through commercial modelling
  • Leading ROI analysis for operational improvement initiatives
  • Building and maintaining executive-level dashboards (Tableau)
  • Acting as a strategic business partner to functional leaders
  • Establishing scalable reporting frameworks for Services
  • Leading a small, high-performing analytics team

Requirements

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can tell us about your:

  • Experience building commercial reporting frameworks in a global B2B, SaaS or EdTech business
  • Track record translating operational metrics into financial performance insight
  • Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders
  • Commercial modelling capability (including forecasting)
  • Use of cutting-edge AI tools to optimise forecasting methodology
  • Experience in M&A analysis or acquisition modelling
  • Passion for driving performance improvement through data
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a distributed organisation
