Position Summary

Are you an experienced leader in the post-sales technical field, ready to take charge of a high-impact role at a fast-growing technology company? Seeq is looking for a visionary Director of Analytics Engineering to lead and develop our post-sales technical function for the EMEA and APAC regions. 

This is a leadership position focused on building and managing a high-performing team of product experts. The Analytics Engineering role at Seeq is a unique position that combines process engineering, industry expertise, analytical skills, and Seeq Platform expertise. The Analytics Engineers act as the CTO for our customers and help them apply the use of our analytics platform to achieve their desired operational outcomes.

Your primary role will be to mentor, guide, and develop your team to ensure they deliver top-tier technical expertise, while you provide strategic direction and support. You’ll oversee the creation of methodologies, best practices, and assets that will define the post-sales and value realization approach at Seeq.

At Seeq, we are revolutionizing how organizations analyze and optimize their industrial data, and as Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the way we engage with prospective customers. While you’ll set the vision, your team will handle much of the day-to-day execution, including mentoring programs, awareness sessions, and value realization exercises. You will work closely with the sales and customer success teams, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and insights needed to engage clients effectively.

In this role, you’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management and engineering, providing feedback from the field to help refine and evolve our software offerings to meet the ever-changing market needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of post-sales technical expertise, guiding your team to help customers achieve their business outcomes with Seeq.
  • Provide strategic leadership in customer engagements, working with enterprise clients through your team to understand their challenges and ensure Seeq’s value proposition is achieved.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to hit operational targets, guiding your team to focus their energy on the highest value activities that support strong renewal and expansion performance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between sales and product teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment on technical aspects, while you oversee the collection and integration of customer feedback into the product development cycle.
  • Lead the training and development of sales staff, providing high-level guidance on technical and product-related matters, and empowering your team to support the sales force effectively.
  • Develop and enhance processes used by the Analytics Engineering team, ensuring your team has time to reflect on current processes and make improvements in how we serve our customers.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science, with a preference for chemical or mechanical engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in post-sales, professional services, technical account management, preferably in a SaaS organization.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, including building and leading teams, with a strong track record of developing frameworks and processes to drive success.
  • Experience managing operational objectives: GRR, NRR, Expansion
  • Experience developing and managing value realization engagements and metrics
  • Experience in the process manufacturing industry (O&G, Chemicals, Pharma, Power, Semi) is preferred; we're also interested in professionals with B2B software experience selling into process industries.
  • Experience building teams and frameworks from scratch, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty to make things happen.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and industrial process data.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • A willingness to travel occasionally as required for customer engagement.
