At Re:Build Manufacturing (RBM), we’re rebuilding America’s manufacturing base and creating sustainable, high-quality jobs in communities impacted by decades of deindustrialization. We are not private equity — we build and invest for the long term, applying advanced technologies, proven systems, and deep resources to help U.S. manufacturing compete globally.
RBM has a very broad set of engineering and manufacturing capabilities that makes us uniquely able to take on complex product development and manufacturing programs for our customers. The different number of manufacturing and engineering disciplines resident within Re:Build Manufacturing may be unrivaled in the US. This has created a lot of demand for our services, resulting in a high rate of growth and the opportunities that come with that.
Re:Build New Kensington (RBNK) is a key part of our mission to rebuild US manufacturing. Located in a community adversely impacted by deindustrialization but with a deep pool of manufacturing talent, RBNK was established to manufacture high-volume and complex products for RBM customers in many industries.
The Need
RBM is engineering and manufacturing products for our customers, including in the Aerospace & Defense industries, and is being asked by them to scale up the production of components and electromechanical systems and sub-systems. This will be done at RBNK, and we need someone to lead a dedicated and successful Aerospace manufacturing group.
We are seeking a proven operations leader to help stand up and lead a new aerospace manufacturing operation within our RBNK facility, to include component production and electromechanical assembly. This is a highly visible role, accountable for building the team, processes, and capabilities required to launch and scale production for complex product lines.
You will have full operational responsibility for this business area, including leadership of production, planning, and day-to-day execution, while collaborating closely with existing site functional leaders in Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. Success will require a hands-on leadership style, deep manufacturing expertise, and the ability to deliver on aggressive performance targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
We are a company determined to make a difference in the industries and communities in which we operate.
