The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional leader to build and scale our APAC Mid-Market sales organization following a period of significant learning and growth. This is a critical role that requires someone who can attract world-class talent, drive exceptional results, and navigate the complexities of the APAC region.

Reporting to: Head of International Sales

Geographic Scope: North Asia (Greater China), ASEAN, India, and ANZ

Team Size: Lead a team of Mid-Market Sales Managers and Account Executives

Market Segment: Mid-Market (companies with 200-2,000 employees)

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, develop, and inspire sales managers and Account Executive teams, fostering a high-performance and high-accountability culture

  • Attract, hire, and retain high-performing talent with an aptitude to learn and grow, ensuring scalable leadership and team capability

  • Coach, manage, and develop sellers with an emphasis on continual learning and skill-gap improvement

  • Balance strong results with a people-first approach that maintains humanity while expecting excellence

Strategic Execution

  • Build and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business, expansion, and retention across Greater China, ASEAN, India, and ANZ

  • Own top-line growth targets and manage complex, multi-year deals

  • Develop and implement processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms that ensure consistent, repeatable execution across teams

  • Navigate challenging markets with patience and resilience, particularly in India

  • Balance immediate revenue objectives with long-term organizational development

Sales Operations & Performance

  • Actively monitor sales pipeline, activity metrics, forecasts, and performance trends; identify risks and adjust strategy proactively

  • Oversee pipeline generation and sales cadence; bridge the gap between sales and marketing

  • Drive revenue success by owning and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Focus on bookings, expansion, cross-sell, and net new business

  • Analyze team and market performance, providing insights, root-cause analysis, and recommendations to inform strategic decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Support, Revenue Operations, and Marketing to ensure alignment and address customer needs

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to improve and iterate messaging and collateral for the sales team

  • Work with Sales Operations to optimize processes and systems

  • Represent sales leadership in internal forums, driving clarity, alignment, and operational effectiveness

  • Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve sales efficiency, scalability, and customer experience

Market Engagement

  • Travel as required across the APAC region

  • Attend industry events and partnership engagements

  • Comfortable operating hands-on in sales as well as providing strategic oversight

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 10+ years sales management experience in a B2B SaaS environment

  • 5+ years experience in second-line management (managing managers) and leading multi-layer sales teams

  • Significant experience leading sales at a high-growth B2B SaaS company

  • Significant experience selling across the APAC region

  • Proven track record managing complex, high-value, multi-year deals

  • Experience selling into companies with 200+ employees (Mid-Market segment)

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets at scale

Leadership Capabilities

  • Confident in leading major deals and negotiating multi-year contracts

  • Strong ability to attract, hire, and retain top talent with a focus on leadership capability and team effectiveness

  • Experience building high-performing teams that deliver results while maintaining team engagement

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive performance

  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams, build processes, and lead through change in fast-paced environments

  • Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on sales involvement

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and seniority levels

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong ability to interpret data, diagnose performance trends, and guide decisions

  • Strong strategic planning abilities with experience building and executing sales strategies for defined segments or products

  • Ability to manage targets and metrics effectively

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
