Digital workplace specialist

ScioTeq is looking for a dynamic Digital Workplace specialist to join our warm and cohesive IT team. As a Digital Workplace Specialist at ScioTeq BV, you will have significant impact for managing and optimizing our digital work environment. You will play a crucial role in implementing innovative solutions and enthusiasm our employees in the efficient use of digital tools.

You will work in an international environment with a complex IT landscape.

The digital workplace specialist has a strong focus on Office 365, MS Teams and AI and also has interest in other business applications.

Your responsibilities

• You lead the rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, …) and shape the future of our digital workplace.

• You drive impactful digital transformation projects, including the introduction of AI-powered tools that boost productivity across the organization.

• You empower colleagues by delivering engaging trainings and helping them get the most out of our digital tools.

• You manage and continuously improve our SharePoint-based intranet, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

• You enhance business productivity by optimizing how teams collaborate using MS Teams and other modern workplace solutions.

• You lead the migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online and MS Teams, ensuring a seamless transition.

• You automate workflows and business processes using Power Apps and Power Automate, turning manual tasks into smart solutions.

• You take full ownership of our non-ERP application landscape, ensuring stability, usability and continuous improvement.

• You support our legacy applications, defining their roadmap and future direction.

• You troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide support to end users.

• You stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital workplace technologies and AI innovation.

• You report to the IT Manager.

Requirements

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT and +5 years of experience in digital workplace environments.

• Strong expertise in MS Office 365 applications (MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Streams, OneDrive, …).

• Solid knowledge of SharePoint 2016 and other Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, …).

• Broad interest in Microsoft technologies and modern workplace solutions.

• Experience with ASP (.net) based web tools and IIS.

• Familiarity with AI tools (MS CoPilot, MS CoPilot Github, ChatGPT, Gemini, …) and AI governance.

• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, user-friendly solutions.

• Comfortable working in a complex IT landscape with minimal supervision, in a international environment.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

• Skilled in creating clear communication and publishing content on the intranet.

• Experienced trainer (e.g. SharePoint, MS Teams) who can inspire users, drive adoption and create lasting impact across the digital workplace.

• High quality standards and a pro-active, solution-oriented attitude.

• Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.

• Curious, eager to learn, and motivated by new IT-trends.
