What your days might look like

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Optimisation (CRO) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving improvements to our online user experience and maximising conversion rates. You will focus on a blend of daily operational tasks, in-depth analysis, and strategic projects, with a strong emphasis on maintaining data integrity and process efficiency.

As our CRO Analyst you’ll be working on:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Focus:
    • Daily A/B Testing Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of live A/B tests across all platforms. This includes creating and maintaining dashboards, and analysing data from Hotjar and other relevant tools.
    • Daily Hotjar Analysis: Conduct daily reviews of Hotjar session recordings and analyse data from automation channels to identify user behavior patterns, areas of friction, and potential optimisation opportunities.
    • Weekly Conversion Reporting: Generate and deliver weekly reports on key conversion metrics across all audience segments and markets. Ensure data accuracy and consistency, leveraging our established data infrastructure.
  • Project Focus:
    • End-to-End Tracking & Implementation: Lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of tracking solutions. Ensure seamless data flow and integration between various platforms to enable comprehensive data analysis and storytelling.
    • Proactive Auditing & Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in our current tracking and analytics setup. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and implement future-proof solutions.
    • Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress against goals, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Tracking Request Management: Manage and execute on incoming requests for new tracking implementations, including custom tracking for A/B tests, new funnel projects (e.g. hiring flows), and other business needs.
  • Data Analysis and Insight:
    • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
    • Develop hypotheses, design and execute A/B tests, and analyse results to drive data-driven decisions.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

What you will bring

    • Proven experience (2+ years) in CRO, web analytics, conversions and optimisation.
    • Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
    • Experience with user behavior analysis tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
    • Experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
    • Familiarity with data visualisation and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
    • Solid understanding of how data flows across different digital platforms.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

    • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Improvement in key conversion metrics (e.g., conversion rate, click-through rate, bounce rate).
    • Accuracy and timeliness of daily and weekly reports.
    • Successful implementation of tracking solutions and A/B tests.
    • Proactive identification and resolution of data integrity issues.
    • Effectiveness of dashboards in communicating insights and driving action.
