The Digital Ops Data Manager primary goal will be to ensure Digital Ops has the right data architecture and infrastructure for a best-in-class tracking, attribution and web analytics integrations. For this, they'll own the business definitions and do operational work to maintain and evolve MongoDB's Identity Graph, Web Sessions, Channel, Attribution Models and systems, and Marketing Touchpoint Repository. This technical and cross-functional role will sit under the Marketing Ops structure, working closely with Marketing Analytics, Data teams, and Growth Analytics teams to ensure we're measuring the right data for MongoDB's business needs.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Austin for our hybrid working model or remote options within the United States will be considered for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own Identity Graph, its architecture, implementation, and data pipelines
  • Own Marketing Touchpoint Repository, being responsible for query optimization, data availability and SLA definitions
  • Own Digital Ops system integrations from DW, like Mixpanel, Ad Ops conversions, among others
  • Partner with Marketing Technology Architect to define best practices for Digital Ops infrastructure
  • Own the infrastructure to prevent Bot traffic from impacting vendor quotas and analytics
  • Manage data assets across Trino and BigQuery data platforms according to best practices
  • Partner with Data Engineering team to ingest raw Marketing data into the Bronze Layer as needed, and create Silver Layer objects that should be broadly used throughout the company
  • Document metadata for Marketing-owned objects in the enterprise data catalog, promoting self-service data discovery

We’re looking for someone with

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, governance or analytics roles
  • Vast experience in owning ETL data pipelines between different systems and architectures
  • Experience in Id graph frameworks and CDP systems (Segment, Tealium, Adobe CDP, etc)
  • Experience across a variety of SQL environments (Presto/Trino, BigQuery, etc).
  • Experience in Web Analytics data (Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or others)
  • Excellent organizational, project management, communication skills, and script governance skills
  • Natural drive for creative problem-solving.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. $101,000$198,000 USD
