About the Role

The Digital Media Technician is responsible for producing digital media deliverables and packages in various formats for film and series content. Extensive technical expertise in digital media and its key components, such as video formats, audio, metadata, subtitles, closed captions, and artwork, is essential. A background in AV processing for global OTT platforms is an advantage. Responsibilities may include video and audio editing, transcoding and encoding, frame rate adjustments, video repairs and restorations, audio conforming/retiming, subtitle formatting, metadata XML creation and editing, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has a flexible mindset, and can quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, strong attention to detail and effective multitasking skills are essential for the Digital Media Tech position.

Shifts available: Sunday-Thursday / Tuesday-Saturday

일-목, 화-토 교대근무가 가능하신 분

Responsibilities:

• Audio and video program editing, conversion, compression, encoding, and quality assurance testing for theatrical and episodic titles
• Efficiently utilize various tools and software for audio, video production, and quality check
• Identify and address discrepancies in media files that may arise during the creation and calibration of output files
• Continuously develop technical skills as quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Operate day-to-day service for global OTT platforms
• Effectively communicate with local and global team

Requirements

• 2+ years in audio post-production or media service projects for film and Series
• College degree in media or other related schooling (preferred)
• Proficiency in English (preferred, not mandatory)
• Familiarity with A/V editing software, including but not limited to Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Pro Tools
• Experience of A/V encoding and packaging service for global OTT platforms
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of codec, framerate, and audio in digital media
• Knowledge of UHD, HDR contents (preferred)
• Communication skills and positive attitude are necessary for the team environment
• Ability to efficiently self-manage time and priorities
• Able to work shifts that may include early morning or late evening hours and/or cross weekends
