Position Summary

Working under the direction of the Sr. Manager Omnichannel Marketing Communications, the Digital Media, Growth & Performance Strategy Manager will help shape our media strategy, accelerate performance, and drive innovation across our digital ecosystem. This role blends performance marketing, growth experimentation, and media innovation. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, optimizer, and builder; someone who can deliver measurable results today while identifying the opportunities that will fuel tomorrow’s growth.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Media Strategy and Performance

    • Develop and own the cross channel digital media strategy, including search, paid social, programmatic, video, and emerging platforms.
    • Translate business objectives into actionable media plans with clear KPIs, audience strategies, and budget recommendations.
    • Plan, execute, and optimize first party media across owned and operated channels, CRM, marketing automation, paid digital, and programmatic platforms.
    • Lead ongoing optimization to improve efficiency, conversion rates, and ROI across all paid channels.

Growth Strategy and Experimentation

    • Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap to test new channels, audiences, and creative approaches.
    • Develop hypotheses, test plans, and learning agendas that uncover scalable growth opportunities.
    • Partner with analytics and product teams to validate results and operationalize successful tests.

Media Innovation and Emerging Platforms

    • Identify and evaluate new media opportunities, technologies, and partnerships that can unlock incremental growth.
    • Pilot innovative formats and channels such as CTV, retail media, creator collaborations, and AI driven targeting.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop forward thinking ad concepts and storytelling approaches.

Analytics, Measurement and Insights

    • Build a robust measurement framework, including attribution, incrementality testing, and channel level performance insights.
    • Develop dashboards and reporting structures that provide visibility into performance and actionable recommendations.
    • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross functional partners.

Cross Functional Leadership

    • Partner closely with brand, CRM, product, analytics, and web teams to ensure cohesive customer journeys and aligned strategies.
    • Influence stakeholders by translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
    • Provide strategic guidance on creative needs, audience segmentation, and landing page optimization.

Agency and Vendor Management

    • Manage relationships with media agencies, technology partners, and platform representatives.
    • Evaluate new tools and capabilities that enhance performance, efficiency, and innovation.
    • Ensure flawless execution of campaigns across all channels.
    • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required in advertising, marketing, or other related field preferred
  • Education substitution: in lieu of a bachelor's degree, 4 years of additional relevant experience will be accepted.
  • 5+ years of professional related experience in digital advertising or an in‑house digital marketing team with a proven track record of delivering results through digital marketing techniques.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated success supporting long sales cycles, multi stakeholder buying journeys, and account based marketing programs.
  • Extensive experience with defining budget, CPA, ROAS and other thresholds for all campaigns.
  • Extensive experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, social media advertising, etc.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Analyze data and make decisions and recommendations using data to guide decision-making and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Planning objectives and strategies to achieve them within a set timeline.
  • Written communications including the ability to communicate technical data in written form.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally allowing for better collaboration and communication.
  • Skilled in MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel (intermediate level).
  • Demonstrated proficiency completing high level digital marketing projects.
  • Proven ability in interpreting digital advertising analytics data, formulating conclusions, and developing strategies.
  • Intermediate experience creating media specific documents such as media plans and playbooks, objectives, and strategy decks.
  • Strong grasp of digital advertising best practices from both business and technical perspectives.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and similar structures.
  • No requirement to wear PPE most of the day.
  • No operation of heavy machinery.
  • No requirement to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Domestic travel required: 10% of time.

 

The estimated salary range for this remote role is between $105,000 - $140,000. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
