Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for a variety of marketing responsibilities. The core function is to lead marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to execution,  implementation, management, and reporting. 

This role requires a proven track record of planning and executing digital campaigns using a wide array of advertising, analytics, and social media platforms, driving campaign growth and ROI, and evaluating performance towards iterative optimizations. You must be open to new and interesting campaign ideas, have a good sense of how paid search and social platforms contribute to reaching a variety of goals across the purchase funnel, and be able to prepare and deliver client-facing reporting and discussions. This role requires someone who is analytical and strategic, able to troubleshoot complex analytical client requests and demonstrate ownership of positive-ROI campaigns.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded, workloads are manageable and appropriately assigned, billable work does not exceed scope, and support the company culture of positive, transparent, collaborative, and client-first mentality.
  • Develop, propose, implement, and digital ad campaigns on a variety of platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic, Reddit Ads) and for Clients targeting a variety of audiences with complex and overlapping needs
  • Manage SEM and social media campaigns within a predetermined budget to optimize and achieve client goals.
  • Fluently analyze and report on Client website performance, ad campaigns, and social media efforts using a variety of analytics dashboards
  • Consistently monitor Clients’ campaign/website performance, supported by proactive recommendations, best practices, A/B testing results, and generalized optimizations
  • Develop and deliver regular website and campaign performance reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of current Inbound Marketing best practices and how to leverage various elements of marketing automation to fit the needs of various campaigns, Clients, and target audiences
  • Leverage generative AI methods/tools (as appropriate and within predefined policies) to generate personas or insights, enhance workflow or strategy, and evaluate impact on campaign results
  • Develop creative ideas for clients to increase their online presence while achieving their online goals
  • Create and manage dashboard and analytics reporting processes


Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Digital Marketing experience (agency a plus)
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing & Media platforms and tools Including Jira, Funnel, Looker Studio, Google Ads Editor, Keywords Planner, Semrush, etc.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on multiple, overlapping digital properties
  • Polished communication skills and the ability to present to clients professionally and with a positive attitude under pressure 
  • Strong blend of analytical, technical, managerial, and business skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, judge priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of what makes something visually appealing, to support effective storytelling and client deliverables – in slides and documents, and online in websites and social media accounts
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certification required by start date
  • Familiarity with the life science industry, marketing to decisionmakers and healthcare professionals, and regulations affecting healthcare communications and advertising
  • Creativity and excellent writing skills
