What we're looking for

We are seeking a Digital Health Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for Patient Enrollment Specialists and other frontline healthcare sales roles that directly impact patient growth and access to care

In this role, you will specialize in identifying, attracting, and screening candidates who thrive in high-volume, phone-based healthcare sales and patient outreach environments. You will partner closely with the Enrollment Operations Manager to build and scale a contractor workforce that drives scheduling, conversion, and patient engagement

This is a hands-on recruiting role in a fast-paced, metrics-driven organization. While we are based in NYC, this role may be based anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Patient Enrollment Specialists, Patient Growth Specialists, and related healthcare sales roles, primarily contractor (1099) positions
  • Proactively source and scout candidates with backgrounds in:
    • Healthcare sales and patient outreach
    • Call center or inside sales
    • Medical device, pharma, or clinical services sales
    • Exercise physiology, care coordination, or patient navigation
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-volume, performance-oriented candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, community groups, and targeted sourcing strategies
  • Conduct high-signal phone and video screens focused on:
    • Objection handling and persuasion skills
    • Comfort with outbound calling and volume
    • Professional communication with patients
  • Partner closely with Enrollment hiring managers to deeply understand:
    • Performance expectations
    • Ramp timelines
    • Traits of top performers
  • Manage candidate workflows in Greenhouse, ensuring accurate notes, stage progression, and timely communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, delivering a white-glove candidate experience from first outreach through offer and onboarding
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, including:
    • Time to hire
    • Pipeline conversion rates
    • Offer acceptance rates
    • Hiring velocity for high-volume roles
  • Continuously improve sourcing strategies based on performance outcomes of hired candidates

Your Past Experience

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with direct experience hiring for healthcare, sales, call center, or high-volume frontline roles
  • Proven ability to recruit for performance-driven roles where success is measured by conversion, productivity, and outcomes
  • Highly organized and agile - comfortable managing multiple open roles and frequent hiring cycles simultaneously
  • Strong interviewer with the ability to assess:
    • Sales aptitude
    • Objection handling
    • Communication quality
    • Coachability
  • Clear and professional communicator with both candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Tech-savvy and resourceful; comfortable learning new tools and optimizing workflows
  • Experience using and managing applicants in an ATS (Greenhouse preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a data-driven recruiting environment where hiring decisions are informed by performance metrics

Other

  • This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
  • Compensation: This role is paid hourly in the range of $30-$35 per hour, based on experience, education, and location. In addition, for specific high-volume frontline roles (such as Patient Enrollment Specialists), the role is eligible for performance‑based bonuses of $200–$300 for each placed candidate who is hired and remains employed for a minimum of 30 days
  • Actual compensation will depend on experience, performance, hiring volume, and scope of responsibility
