Cycloid focuses on platform engineering done right. We optimize the developer experience and operational efficiency by accelerating the delivery of a portal and platform, alleviating the cognitive load on IT teams and advocating for FinOps & Green IT practices. With our Internal Developer Portal and Platform, you don’t need to start from scratch to get a fully customized solution.

Platform teams design, build and run the platform enabling end-users to visualize, deploy and manage existing and new projects, interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without the need to become an expert, while keeping best practices in place, cloud expenses under control with a minimum carbon footprint.

Cycloid is an Internal Developer Platform and an internal developer Portal with modules around self-service portal and platform orchestration, project lifecycle and ressources management, FinOps and GreenOps and plugins. It can be consumed through the console, in CLI or in API.

You are passionate about platform engineering, internal developer portal and platform, DevOps, hybrid cloud, FinOps & GreenOps with a particular interest for cutting edge technologies and open source.

You naturally engage and love connecting with other developers, platform engineering, DevOps, Cloud and greenIT communities. You eventually even built a community of your own gathering passionate technologists and Devs.

You have a leadership role in the organisation, being the global product’s ambassador to the entire technology community, all the while keeping the tech community interests in mind.

You are a promoter of Cycloid, and its technologies, not only as a product but also as an organisation. 

Every day, you work with every stakeholders, the marketing team, the Devs/platform team/Devops/hybrid cloud communities, the partners, the customers, the prospects, users and Cycloid teams, to make Cycloid known and adopted by as many people as possible. You help each community solve their issues thanks to Cycloid. 

You actively participate in the product high level roadmap and bring a cultural, technological and market perspective to an already existing product.

What should I bring to the table?

• Your DevX, platform engineering, expertise, technological and cultural

• Your knowledge and proven expertise in platform engineering, internal developer platform and portal, DevOps, Hybrid Cloud, Finops & Greenops transformation and its’ application to companies in general and IT services in particular. 

• Your knowledge in marketing as tech product marketer to be able to work with the marketing team and drive the asset in a tech way

• Your conviction of what Open Source can bring to the world and improve technologically

• Natural born speaker, you know how to liven up debates and conversations. You speak and make people speak about the themes that are dear to you, the company, but also to the industry.

• You know how to create relationships and already animate communities and facilitate meetings with IT teams

• You are versatile and confident, both animating conferences or participating to events, as well as in writing articles or blog posts. You might even have the ambition to build a new community.

• Collaborating is essential to you: platform engineering is not just tech, it is a way of life. The team means the world to you!

Your main skills and qualities

• Proven experience in public presentation, talks, animation of a community, meetup, reddit etc ideally technical writer would be a +
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of platform engineering, DevOps, Hybrid Cloud, Finops & Greenops and technologies and culture at large
• Proven expertise in DevOps and/or technologies and their use, more specifically Infra as Code, CI/CD, configuration management. A plus would be experience in developer platform, DevOps platform, CMP, PAAS, CAAS, FinOps, GreenOps
• Proven expertise to work inside the marketing team, make the bridge between tech & marketing, write blogs, Linkedin, conferences, 
• You know how to manage Gartner relation & consorts
• You’ve got convictions and know how to convey your passion to the benefit of the many and with respect to others’ opinions
• You show great empathy and open-mindedness

• Your loyalty is not to be proven

The recruitment process is following 5 steps:

• Meeting with our lead marketing, Céline
• Technical demo: you receive some access to Cycloid, you should deploy a new project and present the platform to the team
• Business Case + DevRel skills assignment
• Final discussion with Céline and Benjamin
