DevOps Lead Architect

Auria is looking to hire a DevOps Lead Architect to support the development of satellite ground systems.   The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks that design and implement solutions to build, test, and deploy containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment for providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.

 

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the agile team processes, performance metrics, and software release/deployment planning.
  • Develop and manage multiple system deployments to isolated environments, and enable high reliability of deployed services
  • Develop training plan to train personnel on software development and deployment practices, enabling repeatable delivery processes.
  • Manage training and mentor software developers and DevOps engineers.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Expert in software development and scalable deployment best practices.
  • Expert in development, dev monitoring, deployment, and sustainment of cloud native services and software development at scale.
  • Experience in Kubernetes, manifests, helm and kustomize
  • Experience in cloud and cloud certification (or obtain with 6 months)
  • Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Site Reliability Engineering experience  
  • Trunk-based deployments using ArgoCD 
  • Gitlab metric reporting and confluence integration 

Salary Range: $145,000 - $170,000
