DevOps Engineer (Windows + Azure)

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Windows environments, Azure, and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have experience working on system modernization, automation, and migration projects, particularly transitioning legacy systems to scalable, cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Work extensively with Windows-based environments and automation tools
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell
• Analyze and convert legacy VBScript (VBS) components into modern PowerShell-based solutions
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment
• Support and manage Azure cloud environments, including:
• Infrastructure provisioning
• Migration from on-prem to Azure
• Handle certificate management and secure configurations
• Collaborate with development teams to enable efficient software delivery

Key Projects / Responsibilities

• Migration of legacy VBS build processes to PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
• Implementation of edge technologies (Azure.local) in store environments
• Removal of proxy dependencies in local store setups
• Migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises to Azure cloud

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Windows systems and administration
• Hands-on expertise in PowerShell scripting
• Understanding of VBScript (VBS) and experience in migration/modernization
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Solid understanding of software development and deployment practices
• Experience in handling certificates and security configurations
