Join an engineering team developing a Secure Remote Access platform, enhancing infrastructure security, and promoting automation across a robust DevOps environment.
Join our engineering team responsible for developing and operating the Secure Remote Access platform for DT Technik. This platform enables suppliers, partners, and internal colleagues worldwide to securely connect to DT Technik’s internal systems. You will play a key role in further developing the infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and enabling automation across the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain secure remote access infrastructure (Linux, Windows, containerized environments).
Automate processes using Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps principles.
Support the setup and improvement of test infrastructure and E2E monitoring.
Collaborate with a Scrum-based agile development team, including managing/coordinating with application developers.
Ensure corporate security compliance in all infrastructure developments.
Provide last-level support for infrastructure and related applications.
Participate in sprint planning and deliver engineering tasks, not daily operational activities.
roven experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Engineer with DevOps transition.
Ability to work in an agile (Scrum) environment and coordinate with development teams.
Strong communication skills and an open, collaborative mindset.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is nice-to-have.
Required Skills (Must-Have)
Strong Linux administration skills.
Automation with Ansible (playbooks, roles, configuration management).
Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Basic Windows Server administration.
Advanced Knowledge / Very Good Skills
Networking & protocols, troubleshooting complex issues.
Git as a version control system and GitOps workflows.
CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
Understanding of security requirements in infrastructure environments.
Basic Knowledge
Databases (operation and administration basics).
Active Directory & Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
HAProxy or other load balancing technologies.
Optional Skills
HashiCorp stack: Terraform, Consul, Vault (can be learned on the job).
VMware and virtualization environments.
Tufin knowledge.
German language skills.
