DevOps Engineer (Remote - India)

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud operations, building and maintaining robust, high-performance infrastructure for global SaaS customers. You will develop automation tools, manage large-scale distributed systems, and ensure uptime and reliability for mission-critical applications. Collaborating with engineering and operations teams, you will optimize cloud deployments, monitor performance, and implement best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. This position provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, ArgoCD, and Prometheus, while contributing to the seamless onboarding and satisfaction of customers. You will thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment that values problem-solving, operational excellence, and collaboration across international teams. Flexibility in shifts and on-call responsibilities is required to support customer success around the clock.

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
• Automate processes for deployment, monitoring, and resource management to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality SaaS solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Ensure 99.9% uptime across managed customer environments and address production incidents promptly.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling to support both internal teams and customers.
• Participate in customer onboarding initiatives and contribute to cloud-first strategy projects.
• Engage with international development teams, upholding company values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience in a PaaS or SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and container orchestration, with at least 2 years of Kubernetes experience.
• Experience managing JVM-based applications at scale, including garbage collection analysis and heap tuning.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems across multiple cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Terraform, Helm, GCP/GKE, Golang, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, and related DevOps tools.
• Experience developing SaaS infrastructure and understanding of the SaaS deployment model.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and flexible shift schedules.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Acceptable background check.
