We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining our scalable, reliable, and automated cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. The primary focus of this role will be on platform stability, deployment efficiency, and system monitoring.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Provisioning and configuring all resources using Terraform.
  • Platform Management: Managing and maintaining our development and production environments.
  • Kubernetes Management: Day-to-day administration, scaling, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Developing and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI.
  • Deployment Management: Deploying and updating applications using ArgoCD and Helm charts.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Proactively monitoring and logging the entire infrastructure and deployed microservices using the Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alertmanager stack.
  • Containerization: Building container images within the Kubernetes cluster using Kaniko.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker) technologies.
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (especially GitLab CI) and GitOps principles (ArgoCD).
  • Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • More than 5+ years of relevant experience in a DevOps role.
  • English knowledge min. B2 level (both written and oral)

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes policy enforcement tools (Kyverno, Gatekeeper).
  • Knowledge of network security solutions (e.g., Cilium) and Ingress Controllers (e.g., Traefik).
  • Experience with secret management solutions (e.g., Azure Key Vault).
  • Familiarity with integrating security scanning tools (e.g., Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of the Azure cloud platform.
  • German language knowledge
