This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our mission-critical platforms. As part of our technology team, you will work closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership to design, deploy, and optimise the infrastructure that drives our products. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in managing Linux based infrastructure. 
  • Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo), automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis, GitLab CI), orchestration & containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker) 
  • Knowledge of deploying Node.js based applications.
  • Ability to use various tools to orchestrate solutions with a focus on plain Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform 
  • Ability to deploy / maintain independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, NodeJS, Prometheus
  • Ability to deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including monitoring, using RKE and Ansible
  • Ability to write Helm Charts used to integrate many components to create a software solution. This includes incorporating technologies such as Crunchy PGO, MongoDB, Traefik, proprietary software packages, etc.
  • Experience in writing scripts and automation using NodeJS/Python/Bash 
  • Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure based on XenServer with Ubuntu guests 
  • Manage source control - Git/GitLab CI and implement GitOps
  • Bonus points: Ability to deploy, configure and manage data streaming services like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc. 
  • Bonus points: Ability to deploy, configure and manage data visualization services like Grafana, Apache Superset
