DevOps Engineer

As a Devops Engineer, you will play an important role in our organization, while supporting several Development Teams. You will help manage and create tooling to enable the teams to release our Cloud based services as well as our Embedded IoT hardware located throughout the world. You will support the operation and monitoring of our cloud services to help ensure quality up-time and performance. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented engineers. As part of a broader team, your recommendations for technical solutions, infrastructure, and architecture will add great value and truly make an impact throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, and implement software release processes and automation
  • Implement monitoring tools throughout services to gain better visibility
  • Work closely with the Cloud Operations team and external consultants to apply suitable policies and configure systems
  • Participate in design reviews and release planning
  • Create automated tooling and packages to help support the various teams

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • 2+ years of DevOps experience
  • 2+ years cloud experience (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand various coding languages (NodeJs, Python, Go)
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (Github Actions preferred)
  • Comfortable working with Linux clients & servers
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git
  • Working knowledge of DB/Data Platforms (MySQL, and PostgreSQL)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
